Proporcionar educaci\u00f3 als joves per tal de trencar el cicle d'a\u00efllament, privaci\u00f3 i pobresa i permetre'ls esdevenir membres m\u00e9s actius i valorats de la societat.<\/p>

L'esperan\u00e7a, la dignitat i l'apoderament s\u00f3n el centre del que defensem i s\u00f3n fonamentals per crear un entorn segur i c\u00f2mode perqu\u00e8 els joves refugiats i sol\u00b7licitants d'asil explorin les seves opcions i treballin cap a un futur positiu. En els darrers temps, els esdeveniments mundials han provocat que un nombre m\u00e9s gran de nens separats arribin al Regne Unit i necessiten el nostre suport. Les necessitats que presenten aquests nens poden diferir molt de les dels nens atesos localment, i per als professionals que treballen en funcions de suport aix\u00f2 ha significat la necessitat d'un coneixement m\u00e9s ampli.<\/p>

Els esdeveniments extrems, com ara la guerra, la viol\u00e8ncia pol\u00edtica i d'altres tipus, i l'experi\u00e8ncia de la separaci\u00f3 i la p\u00e8rdua, han tingut un paper important en el passat recent de joves que s'han vist obligats a abandonar les seves llars i viatjar per buscar seguretat a un altre lloc. L'impacte d'aquest trauma pot continuar mentre avancen pel sistema d'asil i intenten trobar el seu lloc en una vida nova i incerta.
Els joves refugiats i sol\u00b7licitants d'asil no acompanyats s\u00f3n alguns dels m\u00e9s vulnerables de la nostra societat. Estan sols i en un pa\u00eds desconegut, al final del que podria haver estat un viatge llarg, perill\u00f3s i traum\u00e0tic. Alguns d'ells poden haver patit explotaci\u00f3 o persecuci\u00f3 al seu pa\u00eds d'origen o durant el seu viatge al Regne Unit. La nostra visi\u00f3 \u00e9s que tots siguin tractats com a joves abans que res. Tot i que la seva situaci\u00f3 d'immigraci\u00f3 tindr\u00e0 un impacte en el seu futur, no s'haurien de definir \u00fanicament per la seva condici\u00f3 de joves sol\u00b7licitants d'asil o refugiats. S'han enfrontat a moltes dificultats a la seva vida i hauran de ser atesos.
