Providing Life Skills training for youth should be a key component in promoting secure livelihoods for young refugees. Young people must be given the chance to develop the practical, intellectual and social skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
The increasing complexity of the issues that these young people face means that literacy and numerical skills alone will not help them to face the growing challenges.
Life Skills help empower young people to resolve such conflicts successfully. Life Skills are psychosocial competencies and contribute greatly to achieving psychological, social and mental well-being.
